Wildman Loose Leaf Tea

This tea compares to the Wildman character from Robert Bly’s “Iron John”. It is bold, eye opening, and a bit wild.

This is not the chai your wife brings you from Starbies. This is a complex chai with the right level of spice and our barrel aged assam that will leave you wanting more. It is wild, yet necessary and will quickly become a staple blend in your house.

All tea is batched, blended and packaged in reusable tins right here in North Texas.

Ingredients: Organic rooibos, Organic Assam, Organic yerba mate, Organic cinnamon chips, Organic orange peel, Organic ginger root, Cloves, Anise seed, Organic licorice root, Cardamom, Black peppercorn, Natural Flavor

2 ounces of Wildman Loose Leaf Tea will yield approximately 25, 8 ounce cups of tea.

Directions:

Use 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 8 ounces of water, in a steeper or tea infuser

Using cold, filtered water, heat to 205 degrees F, just this side of boiling

Pour hot water into mug with the steeper and allow to sit for about 5 minutes.

If you want a stronger tea, add more leaves to the brew. Longer steeping will bring on a bitter note that isn’t welcome in your finished drink.

The tea will stand on its own, but don’t hesitate to make it your own by adding honey, maple syrup, or milk.
